Grey Eyes is the New Black for Brides

written by Connecticut Celebrity Makeup Artist Brandy Gomez-Duplessis

This spring Chanel worked grey during their runway show. This fall grey was also found on the runways of Rag & Bone, Catherine Malandrino and Oscar De La Renta Collections. Inspired by the runway, brides are walking down the aisle with sultry, brilliant shades of grey eye shadows. Sexy shades from heather grey to deep grey will be the choice of color for many brides instead of a smoky black eye. These stunning steel and graphite tones will glisten all season long, while metallic grey eye shadows will work perfect for any evening destination wedding.

Get the above look using Sephora collection. Here’s how to achieve it using the All Over Medium Eyeshadow:

Apply R2 (Shimmer Grey) from lash lines to crease and blend over brow bones.

Apply R1 (Shimmer Black) shadow on the outer corners and blend into the crease.

Apply L1 (Matte Black) on the outer corners and fade a third of the way in.

Highlight the brow bone with L4 (Matte Cream).

Brighten the inner corners with L5 (Shimmer Pearl).

Apply the Retractable Waterproof Eyeliner in Black along the lash lines.

Finish with Atomic Volume Mascara in Ultra Black.
